  • Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius. Grease two baking pans 20cm and cover with baking paper.
  • Place two cups (660g) dulce de leche and eggs in a bowl. Beat until smooth.
  • Add chocolate milk and whisk until it is combined. Mix cocoa and flour in an empty bowl, then fold it to make a chocolate milk mix.
  • Distribute the chocolate milk mixture equally among the pans.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, or till a wooden skewer placed into the center comes clean. Then let it cool completely, and remove from the pans.
  • Utilizing a serrated knife cut the cake tops to level them. Set one of the cakes on a plate and then top the cake with half a cup (165g) of dulce de leche. Cover with another cake. Then, ice the sides and top of the cake with the remaining dulce de leche.

Lemon Poppy Seed Cake
